i wanted to write this thread after reading pec's profile...wow!!!.
he was raised in a family were the men were cursed....if you had a penis you were in trouble.. that was true in my family too, my mother was sexually abused as a child...she hated men all men...so me and my father had no hope...being males.. in my exwife families the men were the chosen ones..the women were worthless.. what sex was favored in your family?
I think this is an important issue...
Because of the JWs thinking...that women are less then a men.
The "brothers" encouraged my exwife to leave me because I wasn't a "spiritual head"....
Since women are so weak minded, that if the don't have someone over them that is "strong spiritualy" then they are screwed.
It seems to be a religion that attracts weak or broken women....The whole "the head of the woman is the man" thing.

for those of us in the tri-state area, (ny, nj, ct) did anyone see in the new york post today the advertisement for i believe the number of the bldg.
was 360 not sure, but definitely on furman, it wasn't a photo but an artists rendering, and the picture even had that part on the top that had the sign "read the watchtower" on it, saying that they were ready to open for tenants in the spring, which we're already at.. the picture definitely looks like the old craptower bldg to me, any of you ex-bethtelites can confirm if that is indeed the bldg.
but what really bothers me (as if i didnt know is) just who's pocket did all of this huge real estate sale pockets does all this money go in, especially since previous posts state that they're pushing the same old' bs "tomorrow is the last day on earth" bs !
